First Impressions Count

From the moment you walk in, you'll feel the difference. We’re here to provide care that feels aligned with how you want to live your life outside of the dentist chair. Since you’re new around here, we look forward to learning a bit about you so we can best align our approach to your expectations and aspirations.

What to Expect

01

A central location.

We’re conveniently located on Edmonton’s vibrant Whyte Avenue. In addition to an on-site parking lot, there’s a transit stop steps from our front door.

02

A warm welcome.

Our priority is providing the best care possible, not maxing out our patients’ benefit plans or only advising towards what’s covered. We’ll consider your needs holistically and explain your options thoroughly to ensure you’re confident in your chosen course of action.

03

Craft and care.

While every General Dental appointment begins with level-setting and a review of your current concerns, we take special care with your first visit to ground ourselves in your dental history. Once everyone’s feeling confident and comfortable, we begin your treatment and check in every step of the way.

04

An open door.

You don’t stop being our patient when you leave our office. If at any time following treatment you have questions or concerns, please reach out and a member of our team will be happy to assist you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Like any good friend, we’ll help you move. Just contact your previous dentist and ask them to forward your x-rays to info@generaldental.ca. Once we receive them, we’ll take care of the rest and make sure your chart is current ahead of your first appointment.

After you book in, you’ll receive a link to complete your medical history form online. If you can fill it out in advance, that’s great. Otherwise, budget a few extra minutes ahead of your appointment so you don’t feel rushed. Also, please share your benefit information and any x-rays from your current or previous dentist with us at info@generaldental.ca.

Yes, we do. We happily care for patients of all ages.

We bill most major benefit providers directly. You may also choose to pay upfront and have us submit the claim on your behalf so you can collect any points or rewards tied to your chosen payment method. If you have questions about the options, we’re happy to discuss them.

If you have to cancel your appointment, no hard feelings. Life happens, just call us directly at 780.213.9618 and we’ll reschedule you. For same-day cancellations or no-shows, we may charge a deposit of $50 that goes towards your next appointment.

Your comfort matters to us. If you have concerns or an underlying condition that requires special care or accommodation, give us a call ahead of time so we can discuss your options and get as much context as possible. We’ll always be transparent about what we’re able to offer in our clinic and help you determine the best next step.
