Inlays and onlays address damage that exceeds what a simple filling can restore. An inlay fits within a low point of a tooth’s cusps, and an onlay is more like a partial crown, covering multiple cusps.
Before crafting your custom inlay or onlay, we thoroughly clean the area before taking comprehensive impressions or digital scans of the affected teeth. Until the inlay or onlay is ready for placement, we apply a temporary protective filling. This appointment generally takes an hour and a half.
During your second visit, we permanently bond the inlay or overlay to your teeth. This appointment generally takes an hour.
These restorations are long-lasting and preserve your natural tooth structure and bite.
You’re busy, let’s keep things simple.
